The actual game needs a system to be way better than that to play with decent fps (10-20 consistent).
I strongly suggest at least 256MB ram and a 64 MB GeForce FX or later.
As for hard disk space u need 734mb cuz original game only takes up 400mb but texture file that is generated takes up 300+mb
