Windows has a feature to hide some system files from users. To access these files you need to cancel Hide option as follows-
1. Open My Computer. Go to Tools menu and choose Folder Options. Click on View tab.
2. Now look for Hidden Files and Folders and select Show Hidden Files and Folders. Hit OK. (Open below image in new tab for original view)
Now you can view these hidden files and folders.
