Fraps is a very good game video recording application . But to have full version you have to register it. By having full version you can -
-record unlimited length movie with big size . say 1 min movie could be od 200 mb or more. You have to compress it.
-click images in JPEG format
-Show how many Frames Per Second (FPS) you are getting in a corner of your screen.
But registering fraps legally requires nearly $ 25.
-take screenshot in JPEG format
-record video for more 0.30 minute.
So here is guide to overcome above drawbacks
Download FRAPS 2.9.6 Setup (1 MB) and install .
2. Start fraps and run game ( e.g. GTA VC mission Recruitment Drive ) . On the upper left side of screen you will see fraps is running ideal.
3.Press F9 (by default ) to record movie.
You will be able to record video upto 0.30 min . Then fraps goes to ideal mode . As soon as you see the Yellow digits again press F9 to record video for next 0.30 min. And so on.
4.Now you will require some additional softwares to deal with these videos and they are video editors or video joiners . Most comman video editor is Windows movie maker. Example of video compressor is Wonderson Video convertor (search google to download it )
5.Now for screen shots. You will be able to take screenshot in bmp format . To know how to reduce size of images or Batch Convert or Batch Rename CLICK HERE.
